Meeting called to order at 3:15 p.m. by President Rich Lepping.
Minutes: The minutes of the April 4, 2014, Aberdeen, Scotland meeting were circulated and approved on the motion of Collin Georget, seconded by Nick Avlonitis. Carried.
President Report: Rich Lepping, President welcomed our board members, skips and curlers to the 23rd Championships and the biennial meeting of the Fellowship. Rich gave a little background about the duties of each of the board members and introduced each member.
Secretary Treasurer’s Report: Kathy Ricci read through the report that was handed out to the members, noting the following items:

Secretary Treasurer’s Report: Kathy Ricci read through the report that was handed out to the members, noting the following items:
- Letter of appreciation was sent to John Bremner, Chairman of the 2014 Organizing committee in Aberdeen, Scotland expressing the appreciation of the fellowship for their excellent hosting of the Championship.
- New website hosting company.New website is much more user friendly – will have $225 in a two year span. If there is anyone that would like to sponsor or help with the website cost, please contact Rich Lepping or Vernon Boyd.
- The financial statement showing a balance of $1,646.97 as of March 31, 2016.
New Business:
Changes in Friendship Division Roles: Board has approved new rules that you can complete a game before the 8th end if a team chooses to because of the score. Collin Georget thanked the group for making these changes.
Health of Rotary Curling and changes to participate: There are many things that have change in the Rotary organization that include: young people are using phones, completes not paying dues, people are supporting other organizations.
How do we grow this fellowship?
Future Venues:
2018 Hamilton Curling Facility, Scotland. Hosted by the Glasgow and District Rotary Clubs.
2020 USA to Host: Rich Lepping is working on having it in Las Vegas, Nevada around the 1st week of April. More to come. Madison, Wisconsin is a backup for the event.

Report from our 2018 Hosts, Hamilton, Scotland: Jack Blackwood presented a PowerPoint about the site and area of Hamilton. There are 6 sheets of ice at the Lanarkshire Ice Rinks. Event will be held the 1st week of April. They are working on finalizing the dates and hotels accommodations. 11 Championship Teams and 12 Friendship Teams. They are all looking forward to seeing everyone in Hamilton.

The following are the Officers and Directors as proposed. Motion was made by Dale Keaveney and seconded by Nick Avlonitis to accept the slate of officers. Motion carried.

Rolf McKeen Fellowship Award – The Organization Team decided to have the teams pick the recipient of the award. Each Skip has a slip to nominate a person. Please had in your slips to Vernon Boyd. Award will be given at the Closing Banquet.
Appreciation to Grande Prairie: Thank you to the WHOLE Organization Team for a great time. Everything has been wonderful and we are all pleased with the hospitality everyone has given us.

- Encourage the new members attending today’s meeting to spread the word and form more teams.
- There have been articles in Japan’s Curling Magazine
- Qualifying Events – may need to relax on rules – would love to see if Friendship Teams can be any Rotarian from other clubs.
- Ages seems to be a factor?
- There was a long discussion on how we can all help spread the word about Rotary Curling.
