SCOTLAND
The Rotary Scottish Championship (Rams head) is played every year with the two winners from either year automatically qualifying for the bi-annual Rotary World Championships. The 3rd spot, when not in Scotland, is decided by a play off between the two runners up from either year. If it is held in Scotland the host club qualifies instead. Rotary Scotland is divided into four regions for curling, namely: North, South, East & West. Each region receives entries averaging 12-15. The area organizer can basically run his own competition whichever way he chooses as long as he produces a winner for the Rams head finals in March. The four area winners then play a round robin with the top two going into a final to decide the Rams head winner. CANADA (EASTERN) & USA

The 63rd Annual Rotary District 5360 & 5370 Curling Bonspiel will take place from Thursday, March 5 to Sunday, March 8, 2026 in Yellowknife, North West Territories. For more information CLICK HERE. ENGLAND The English team are proud to be members of the International Curling Fellowship of Rotarians and have been present at the Championships since 1994. They were delighted to be the first ever team to be the recipients of the Rolf McKeen Fellowship Award at the 2012 Championships in Laurel, Maryland, USA. The team is open to any Curling member of a Rotary Club based in an English Rotary District. In practice the English team has historically been made up of members of the Berwick-upon-Tweed Rotary Club, as it is the only Rotary Club based in England which currently has curling members. The team for the 2026 Championships is likely to consist, once again, of members of the Berwick Club. They curl at the Kelso Ice Rink in the Scottish Borders. |
